My son is hard to eat when he ate certain foods that are less healthy eating such as ready meals. I am a housewife can not cook I always buy food outside the home such as ready meals. Have you experienced problems like mine. how to overcome these problems to be able to make healthy food for children and my family. although I have a lot of learning to Cook Healthy food but no way more effective and simple to me. Please help me with your the best answer and your personal experience.
You can microwave healthy foods.
Tofu, rotisserie chicken from the store, frozen veggies, whole wheat bread, cheese… all very healthy and require only cutting and/or microwaving.
Baking is easy. Just turn on oven, place food in oven, remove food, turn off oven. Ta Da!
Eggs are healthy and easy. So is whole wheat pasta.
You can get a cook book too if you want, but if you just cut and microwave food there are still tons of healthy choices.

Are two egg whites cooked in a frying pan without butter or anything else a healthy breakfast for a weight lifter?
Depending on your goals you need more than 2 egg whites if you are weight lifting . I’m not sure of your age . You need to add something with it , maybe some plain oatmeal , or you can make a egg wrap w/ a whole wheat wrap , spinach , small amount of mozz cheese and I will add some salsa as well . I normally eat 4-5 egg whites w one yolk , 1/2 cup of plain oatmeal and strawberries , Oh and use non stick PAM

I am trying to eat healthy and I am mostly trying to eat grilled chicken. I am looking for various meals that I can cook that are centered around grilled chicken and was wondering if there are any cook books that can help me out. I’ve googled it and can’t seems to find what I’m looking for. Does anybody have a cookbook in mind that would apply to my situation?
You might be able to find a cookbook about chicken…however I don’t think you will find one about only grilled chicken…Joy of Cooking has one all about chicken…there is one chapter about grilled chicken…You might go to a book store and check it out and see if it is what you are looking for…

I am an amateur cook. I don’t really know too much but I’d like to learn how to cook simple healthy meals. I was wondering if a cook book would teach me how to do that. Learn what products to buy, and how to prepare nutritional dishes, etc. I just want to eat healthier.
Ryan, you can go with a cook book, but you’ve got to realize in this digital age it’s hard to get the latest recipes and cooking tips past the printing time of a book; plus, you’ve got to consider you’ll have to shell out money for the printed material–the book–that will inevitably get outdated in no time.
You should consider looking at online recipe sites and the sort–it’s inherently more updated and free more often than not.
In fact, try plusrecipes.com, and they have some health-conscietious food sections, like the grilled vegetables section:

Hope this helps!
Enjoy!

The Internet. Just whatever is available online and what I have on my mind, including the inclusion of relevant sites, like the one cited above, the development of which came about by me; I hope it’s useful. Helping people get the relevant info they want is great.
