I want to cook a healthy dinner for my sisters and mom? Any healthy and easy recipes?
I feel bad my mom comes home and makes all the dinner for us after being tired. I’m not really the best cook.. I was going to make hamburger helper because my little sister really wants it, but I know that’s really unhealthy and processed.
Any healthy recipes that aren’t too hard to make??

This is something that I find quite tasty… im not giving the recipe, just a suggestion.. for something healthy, I perfer baked meat, such as chicken breasts, with a side of I think it is called broccoli pasta, it is like mac n cheese but with itty bitty peices of broccoli. And if you want something a bit easier, try a baked chicken sandwich, or some chicken alfredo (available in hamburger helper brand) chicken is a healthy alternitive, unless your little sister is a fish fan, which I doubt.lol.. the chicken alfredo isn’t that fatty, or processed.. it is my favorite food! And you are a very good big sister or brother, making sure your sister eats healthy.. wish every big sibiling was like that..

Good for you wanting to take some initiative, help your mom, please your sister. Starting with Hamburger Helper is an okay strategy. But if you can do that, you can also learn to make a healthier chili or a meat sauce for pasta with little extra effort.
Try to put some vegetables or fruit out as healthy sides. Hamburger helper with broccoli and some grapes is better for your family than takeout fast food.
You can learn to bake, roast, plan sides, salads, etc. in time.

Margarita Chicken
Its a quick (about 20 minute from refrigerater to plate) fun easy and totally DELICIOUS meal and less that 400 calories per serving!.
Ingredients:
1 can black beans, drained
1/2 tsp cumin
Juice of 1 lime
Salt and Pepper to taste
1 tbs Olive oil
4 boneless skinless chicken breast (about 6oz each)
1 Cup salsa (I prefer Salsa Verde, its a nice balance between acidity and spice and the colors look nice)
1 Cup shredded Pepper Jack Cheese
Chopped Fresh Cilantro
Preheat your Oven to 450… Combine the BLACK BEANS and CUMIN in a saucepan and heat all the way through squeeze the LIME JUICE and adjust the seasoning with SALT AND PEPPER. Remove from heat, but warm before serving.
Heat the OIL in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Season the CHICKEN all over with SALT AND PEPPER and sear in the hot pan for 3-4 minutes on the first side, until a nice crust develops, then flip. Cook for another 3-4 minutes, then transfer to a baking dish (if your pan/Skillet is not oven safe) spoon the SALSA over the meat, top with CHEESE and place in the oven. Bake until the chicken is cooked through and the cheese is fully melted and bubbling, about 5-10 minutes depending on size of chicken breast.
…… reheat the Bean mixture, Divide evenly among the plates, top with chicken, and garnish with CILANTRO.

Here is a pretty easy one.
1 lb chicken breast raw diced
fresh cilantro (near the fresh parsley)
chipotle seasoning
red pepper flakes (if you like it hot)
tomatoe diced
2 cans black beans
2 cans corn
1 purple onion
olive oil
sautee onion thick slices, olive oil, cilantra and chipotle seasoning. Add in chicken. In mean time drain and rinse black beans and corn. Add some chipotle seasoning and cilantra and microwave or heat on stove top.
Then, add tomatoes to chicken/onion mixture for 1-2 minutes. Add this whole mixture to the bean mixture. Mix gently and serve with either soft flour shells or on lettuce as lettuce wraps. Also good with a dab of light sour cream.
SO healthy, SO yummy!!!!!
