Which is better for homemade salad dressing: Walnut or Hazelnut Oil?
We were watching a Healthy Cooking show and they said a great two ingredient salad dressing is by using apple cider vinegar and walnut OR hazelnut oil, which one would taste better because we already have both of those.
Well to tell you the truth , I have never used either one , but they both sound really scrumptious . I make my own many times ad use different recipes for what I am in the mood for . The next time I decide to make Italian dressing , I think I will try one of them and then make another batch with the otheer oil . I can not wait to try them both. Thanks for the idea.
I may just go get the ingredients and mix up a couple of batches today .
How are things going with you and your father .
How are things with your belief ? I know something like that sounds so simple that we have a problelm believing , yet we have no problems believing something somone else says to us. Keep praying , keep studying , your eyes andheart will be open wide . It’s hard to believe in something you can not see> Jesus /God are something we just have to believe in by faith and that alone . Look at all what we call miracles today, the birth of a baby, a beautiful sunrise or sunset , finding that one special person in your life , a beautiful scene in nature , the Painted Desert , The Grand Canyon and so on and so on. The things did not just happen , they were created just for us all . Hang in there girl and jsut be yourself , you call yourself spoiled , yet I do not see you that way at all , you seem to be a sweet , loving , and sympathetic person . As always good luck in all that you do , and God continue to bless and keep you safe .

I would say either one, I am arformer chef and have used both, and while there is less cholesterol in them you need to counter them with a light veg oil not just straight one or the other, they are to powerful.
For a like dressing use 1/2 cup 125 ml of veg oil, 1/4 cup cider vinegar, sea salt, pepper, fresh herbs, a bit of garlic, even a bit of honey for sweetness and then 2 tablespoons of the walnut of hazelnut oil, like truffle oil it is a finishing oil and give a nutty flavour to the dressing, make it up in a shaler bottle or jam jar, and shake it everytime you use it.

I’ve never used either. The hazelnut sounds really good to me. I always use extra virgin olive oil and either red wine, basalmic, or champagne vinegars with herbs. Sometimes lemon or orange juice instead of vinegar.
