Scottish Celebrity Chef Nick Nairn shows that oats can be used for so much more than porridge!
This ‘best bits’ video of the ‘Know Your Oats’ summit showcases the benefits and versatility of oats – from rolled and jumbo, to pinhead and oatmeal.
Nick prepares some deliciously easy recipes, including Baked Peppers with Oaty Nut Stuffing as well as the really moreish Oatmeal-Crusted Salmon with Kale and Mustard Sauce.
Also, Dietitians Dr Sarah Schenker and Therese Coleman, explain the benefits of including oats as part of a healthy balanced diet, including reducing cholesterol.
The summit was organised by HGCA in collaboration with The Scottish Oat Group and supported by Scotland Food & Drink.
